Clarke and I had an amazing vacation at Paradise Island in the Bahamas in May of 2015. The day we got there, there was a Junkanoo in town, so there was a lot of traffic. As we went over the bridge to get to Atlantas my jaw dropped at how beautiful it is!! Our room was in the Royal Towers where we had a gorgeous view of the harbor. We were so excited for the Love Song Couples get away, which is a Christian marriage conference.
We got there a day before it started, so there was time to go to Dolphin Cay. This was an awesome experience where we got to touch, dance with, feed and swim with a dolphin named Kelly. Then, we got to do a foot push with a dolphin named Tracie. The louder you scream the faster the dolphin goes!! Of course, we got the photos of this incredible experience. I love spending time with the dolphins.
Atlantas has so much to see and do!! It has an awesome waterpark with a not so lazy river which we loved!! The Leap of Faith is one you see in their commercials. You go straight down and through a tank with sharks in a couple seconds. One thing necessary was keeping your head back and crossing your arms because of the G force. Clarke made me go first, if I didn’t I would never hear the end of it!! We really enjoyed the waterpark.
Inside the Royal Towers they had am amazing aquarium, where you could see treasures from Atlantas. There was also a marina near by with shops and places to eat, which was very nice. The conference itself was awesome!! We loved worshipping on the beach in the morning and having concerts at night. The artists were Mercy Me, Michael Taiit and Duncan from the Newsboys, Mike Donehey from Tenth Avenue North, Greg and Cathe Laurie, Plus, the people who started Love Song!!
We loved the Junkanoo experience, spending time at Blue Lagoon Island and more!! We are blessed to keep in touch with two people that work there George and Adrianna.
